Being on a self imposed quit sugar diet a la Sarah Wlison’s blog, I am frequently asked “even fruit?”

Yup. Even fruit.

However, of you’re going to be tempted into submission, fruits like melons and berries are in the “ok if you have to” basket. Sarah’s excellent e-book on the matter will clarify why.

Meanwhile, I made this gorgeous salad. Use a melon baller to add visual and textural pleasure. Finish with grated lime zest and a squeeze of lime juice.

If your fruit has come straight from the fridge, allow to sit for 20-30 minutes to bring it to room temperature.

A nice floral herbal tea would compliment perfectly. Chew well and enjoy!
